Preserving potato quality requires control of the storage environment.
Potatoes continue to respire after harvest. Temperature, humidity and CO₂ levels change inside the pile. SiloPapa combines airflow, sensing and connected control to manage those conditions throughout storage.
Install
The demountable module is assembled at the selected location, close to production or supply areas.

Potatoes are stored in a structure designed to direct air through the crop.

The operator sets the target and operating mode for each stage of storage.

The system records key variables and makes their history available from a phone.
VENTILATION AND RECIRCULATION
The right airflow at the right time.
When outdoor conditions are favourable, suction ventilation draws air evenly through the potatoes to cool the pile, renew the atmosphere and remove CO₂. Recirculation moves the internal air again to stabilise temperatures and distribute oxygen throughout the crop.

Is SiloPapa a refrigerated store?
No. The system uses outdoor air when conditions are favourable and directs it through the potatoes. It is not presented as mechanical refrigeration.
Which variables does it measure?
It records temperature inside the crop and outdoors, relative humidity and CO₂ concentration.
Does ventilation always run at maximum capacity?
No. The figures of 53,400 m³/h and 110 m³/t/h are maximum capacities. Variable-frequency drives provide four speeds to match airflow to current storage needs.
Can the system be relocated?
Yes. Its modular, demountable structure can be relocated according to operating and seasonal requirements.
